SNEAKER ART BATTLE
OFFICIAL RULES
ENTRY: No purchase necessary to enter. The day of a Live Sneaker Art Battle, we reserve the right to request a test design of your work for pre-screening prior to entering the live sneaker art design competition.
LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
ELIGIBILITY: Competition is to open artists age 18 or older. Contestants under the age of 16 must have written parental permission to be eligible for prizes. Competition is void where prohibited.
The selections will be conducted by a combination of internet voting and selection by Hip Hop USA. Persons selected will be notified by e-mail to which will be attached a Declaration of Eligibility. All potential winners are subject to verification of their eligibility and their compliance with these Official Rules. If the selected winner is ineligible for any reason another winner will be chosen.
Judging: The finalists will be notified by email and judged based on artistic ability, creative expression and overall design. The photograph of a contestants sneaker design may appear online and in national and local media without compensation as a part of national balloting to select the Sneaker Art Battle winner. Finalists will be notified by mail or email or both and required to submit an affidavit of eligibility and to sign a release permitting the publication of their names and likeness without compensation and stating that the contestant will not appear in any competitive advertising during the contest period. Should any finalist not accept or fulfill the requirements of eligibility an alternate finalist will be selected.
Winning artists receive the opportunity to have their art design appear on a limited edition Hip Hop USA sneaker. In addition to cash prize, commissioned artists will receive a sample run of their sneaker design and 2% net commission on the sale of the design both in the United States and Internationally.
Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the website; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
The artists, parent or legal guardian has read and understood the Sneaker Art Battle rules and agrees to terms.
