Debut album showcases emcee’s social consciousness and unique
production skills

(Brooklyn, NY August 21, 2006) Though he was immersed
in the culture of hip-hop since early childhood, Jair Dynast’s focus as a young man was not on the microphone, but
on the courts. A talented basketball player, Jair attended college on an
athletic scholarship until he was diagnosed with a heart condition that forced
him to immediately stop any involvement in sports. Jair then converted his
passion and drive from playing ball to writing and producing politically
charged hip-hop. His debut album, V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E. will hit the streets on September 26, courtesy of
eMultimedia Group.

V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E. is an acronym that stands for Vicious Ignorance Amounts to Little
Except Negative Consequences
N’ Expression. The album’s 18
tracks range from introspective narratives to head-nodding concept tracks to
club banging lyrical exposés. Jair’s varying delivery showcases his prowess on
the microphone, while his lyrics tackle the issues that continue to plague the
inner cities; poverty and violence. The lead single “Vicious”
explores one of the darker aspects of life on the streets; the “crabs in a
barrel” mentality of some people who try to sabotage anyone they perceive
is rising above their level.

V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E is the unique result of Jair’s inner city upbringing and Caribbean
heritage topped off by category defying production. Jair, whose name means
“One whom God Enlightened, Ruler of a Dynasty”, puts it simply when
asked to describe his album- “it’s poetic commentary on life”.
