Nemiss Chiyork’s recent release gives a nod to women’s history with “Bombshell”. Nemiss brings dancing back to a Hip Hop video landscape that routinely neglects a once popular fixture. In a sultry hushed tone she delivers the hook “My body is the bomb, but my mind is the bombshell the baddest weapon on the block,” flipping the common association of the term bombshell from the body to the mind of a woman.
