Mighty Mos Def allows himself to be shackled and force-fed by the same procedure used on prisoners at Guantánamo Bay in order to highlight the human rights violations taking place. It’s a bit uncomfortable to watch and I’m sure even more difficult to go through. Bey only lasts through the first few minutes before he begs for it to stop while fighting off the procedure. His red teary eyes indicate the stress of what even just a taste of this standard operating procedure puts detainees through. That’s beef.
